Last year some of the most important international hubs for fashion arranged an effort to stimulate the economy through an entertaining and interactive fashion event called Fashion’s Night Out. The evening was a massive success and will be returning for a second year in September.
The first Fashion’s Night Out was held on a Thursday, but this year the organizers decided they would maximize the exciting evening by holding it on a Friday night. They’ve announced September 10, 2010 as the new date of Fashion’s Night Out.
Stores or designer headquarters that participate in Fashion’s Night Out have held promotions on the night of the event that include great sales, runway shows, designer and celebrity appearances, live window displays, contests and more. The main goals of Fashion’s Night Out are to motivate people to get out and shop, celebrate magnificent fashion and support the vast retail industry.
Across the globe, and guided by Vogue editions that include US, Milan, Berlin, Madrid, Moscow, Tokyo, Beijing, Sao Paolo, Athens, Taipei, London, Paris and New Delhi, each nation will modify its Fashion’s Night Out festivities based upon the interests of the culture’s distinctive retail atmosphere.
